All the things {Norwegian}
What do trolls, vikings and my bronze coral reef beads all have in common?
Well, nothing really. Other than I lived in Norway on student exchange for a year and today is Norwegian national day (also known as 17 Mai!)
I like to shout out to Norway and all the friends I made there on this day. I was supposed to be attending a reunion this summer with those friends. We have postponed until next summer.
In the meantime HEIA NORGE!
Meet the bronze {bead} dangles!
I have been calling this design "dangles", because the chain dangles from the bottom of the bead.
My beads and designs are versatile; very easy to mix and match, depending on your mood.
The "dangles" family has both a necklace and an earring that are one bead with a chain dangling.
Or one bead dangling below another bead.
You can find all of the dangles (with their real names) in my shop with the other pieces of my latest release.

Breaks, books and {bronze} beads
One of the things I like to do to relax is to read books.
I visited the Little Free libraries in the neighbourhood again and traded 3 books. The bottom two are my usual mystery / thriller genre.
But the top one had all the colours of the ocean and beach, so I figured it was meant to be! I'll let you know how it is.
PSST: The necklaces are now in my store.

Bronze {bead} on gold chain - new necklace
Like my last post, this is about an updated design. This time, it's the vertical bead necklace, Pico Azores.
Meet Palomas - which means "dove" in Spanish. It's an island which fits my Isles Collection. Palomas will come in three bead sizes: large, medium and small.
Apparently, Paloma is also a tequila and grapefruit cocktail. Hmm, might have to try that this summer!

Peter Cottontail and {bronze} beads
Well looky who showed up in the studio this weekend.
Is it Peter Cottontail, hippity hoppin' around? Did he bring me any treats? Or is he hopping away down the bunny trail?
He could at least get off the beads and help me out with my collection release...
Happy Easter everyone!

Bronze {handcarved} beads and gold chain
As an artist, I have names that I refer to my series of pieces before I give them their "real" names, the ones that will appear on my website.
These ones are called "dangles", because the chain dangles from a bead. Single dangles...
And double dangles.

Drops of {bronze}
Physical distancing means more creative time for me right now.
These drops are simple; one bead on a length of chain. Or sometimes two drops together.
Yet they are elegant. You could say Elegantly Audacious!
The release of these beauties is coming very soon...If you want "in", sign up below and become an Insider.
Stacks of {bronze} beads
Focussed time on creating pieces with my bronze coral reef beads is yielding results.
These ones are stacks - vertical pendants in twos and threes.
And horizontal ones both as earrings and necklaces.

Sculptural {bronze} jewelry
What does "sculptural" jewelry mean?
To me, sculptural jewelry means that it is somewhat 3D and made by hand, much like any other sculptural would be.
I do form and carve each of my beads by hand; they are my little sculptures.

Please may I have some more {bronze bead jewelry}?
I thought I would dangle some chain at the end of some beads and these ideas came out. Mini plus small bead, perhaps for everyday wear.
And small plus medium for more boldness.
Or how about doubling up on beads?

Multi-bead fun {part 2}
The other day, I wrote about multi-bead necklaces that could be part of my upcoming collection release.
Those were three bead necklaces. Now, I am looking at a full bead necklace and bracelet. Maybe on the chain.
Or perhaps links.

Mult-bead necklaces
I continue to enjoy my adventure with my bronze coral reef beads. There are just so many ways to put them together.
Like these triple bead ideas: a stack, horizontal links and scattered between chain segments.
My collection release is coming in a few weeks. If you want "in" on first dibs at the pieces, please sign up to my email list below.
